Day 2: Thursday, July 2

Its Thursday the second day of July. I touched down in London earlier this morning. What a journey to get here: 7.5 hours of the most uncomfortable flight of my life plus a 2 hour bus ride. When my group finally arrived at the university it was around 1 pm London time. I put my suitcase in my room and went out for lunch with Alex K. We then returned and went on a group walk. The walk wasn't very long, we just walked for an hour or so around our area up to the National Portrait Gallery. When we got back to College Hall it was around 5 pm. I unpacked a little bit and headed downstairs for my first dinner here. The food wasn't great but not completely terrible. Definitely better than the food at Crescent. Today was also my first night in London. I fell asleep at around 10 pm, only to wake up 3 hours later thinking it was the morning. I stared at the ceiling for the next few hours trying to fall asleep until I finally did. Tomorrow is my first class.
